This is an overview of all official message boards of swiss football clubs. You can find out basic facts, highlights and how to join. Spoiler: it is not always easy!
BSC Young Boys: https://www.1898.ch/

What is it like?
Well… It’s different, alright. If you are a purist and a lover of the 90s style internet, you will feel right at home. If you actually want to find or read something, not so much. It’s pure chaos, plain and simple.
The forum has 4497 pages (!), the first entry is on 1st February 2008 with the claim “Der Stammtisch ist eröffnet”
Highlights?
You will enjoy browsing in the modern internet much more after this experience, that can be assured. There is an alternative forum at transfermarkt.ch which has also quite the traffic and is actually readable. Also, there is https://www.ybfans.ch/forum/, which thankfully has a clear layout and 1230 members.
How can I join?
It does not seem to be that easy. You have to do an application here, where you have to mention an existing member or state the rules of the forum. Maybe there is also a cult ritual involved, who knows?
FC Basel: https://www.fcbforum.ch

A classic message board in the typical Basel colors. With almost 8’400 members, over 33’000 threads and over 174’000 posts there is a lot of discussions going on about FC Basel and Swiss Football. There is also a market place where you can buy or sell stuff.
Highlights?
The record of most visitors online (879) was reached at 17th of February 2021. It was the day of the devastating 2-6 Basel loss against Winterthur in Swiss Cup. I guess a lot of fans wanted to release steam, or fans of other clubs came to watch the show out of Schadenfreude.

How can I join?
You can register here. You have to tell the admins the founding year of FCZ, that should not be too hard. The admins will check the application before you get green lights.

A classic message board, with one interesting gadget: A so called “Liiribox”, where you can chat live with other users. The message board has more than 3’700 members, 5’600 threads and over 550’000 posts.
Highlights?
There is a thread how to properly take a shit in a stadium, that was pinned at the top till recently. As a club with a lot of ups and downs, the thread “Just a slip or deep rooted problem? FCL Quo vadis?” has already over 100 pages, the recent mood seems a bit less gloomy, though.

Highlights?
Funny enough, the record of the most visitors was broken very recently, with 331 users online at 1st of August 2021. Sion went down in flames against Basel 1-6 that day, so there were a lot of users who needed to release some steam (and maybe some other fans lurking to enjoy the meltdown).

Other interesting message boards
- Transfermarkt.ch forums: There is a forum for every Super League club here, unfortunately most of them are not very active, except the YB forum, for obvious reasons
- austriansoccerboard.ch: If you want to discuss about football in Austria, this is the way to go. All fans of the different clubs come together there. It’s too bad there is nothing like that for Swiss Football
- UEFA Europan Football Forum: If you want to talk about European football, this is the place to be, with football nerds all over the world talking about the best sport in the world.
